The process.

  1. Let’s talk

Before we talk brows we talk health. The first part of your appointment is the consultation – I need information about your general health and wellbeing so we can fully discuss any implications. This is also your chance to ask all your questions – this is important so you feel comfortable with the procedure. You’ll also sign a consent form.

I’ll want to hear your eyebrow story and we will discuss your wish list for the eyebrow design.

2. Creating a shape

I wipe your skin clean and draw my outline for the brow. Some key points are measured but the rest of the design is done by eye. I let your brow bone guide me, and don’t stray far from your natural hairline.

Simplicity is key when it comes to my signature Angelic Arch.

The initial shape may look thicker than you expected, but the pigment goes between these lines so the end result is softer and more translucent.

3. Choosing the colour

My brand of choice has always been Li Pigments. This company is an industry leader and their formulas are high quality, safe and hold true to colour once in the skin.

They have a wide range of colours available and I enjoy mixing these to create a customised colour for you. I involve you in the process, so we both have our say and share control over the healed result.

4. Keeping it even

I constantly check for brow symmetry as I work. This means I move from one brow to the other and will have you sit up so I can check for balance.

I may redraw a few key measurements to ensure they are as close to symmetrical as possible - but remember they are sisters, not twins.

5. Making magic happen

I gently outline the contour of your brow with the machine, then carefully layer pixelated dots throughout, to mimic powder. This creates a gorgeous shape with no harsh front or outline.

I love this shadowing technique as it is less invasive and the colour is buildable from light to dark.

6. All important aftercare

We are both responsible for a beautiful healed result.

My technique is important, but so is the aftercare regime carried out by you. Keep your newly tattooed brows free from water, sweat, makeup and skincare products for seven days. I will give you clear instructions and an aftercare balm to use in the first week.

Your brows will flake and the colour will soften dramatically over the first week. When you return for your follow-up appointment we can go darker or simply layer more pigment for longevity.
